Suspected heroin and marijuana found in Saybrook Township apartment

SAYBROOK_The Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force with assistance from the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office, Ashtabula Police Department and Ohio State Highway Patrol served a search warrant about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 5909 1/2 Granger Road in Saybrook Township.
The warrant was issued by Ashtabula Municipal Court Judge Laura Digiacomo. This warrant was the end result of an approximate 1 1/2 year investigation into heroin sales at the residence.
Investigators found five people inside the apartment. One individual, Christina Davis, was arrested on outstanding unrelated warrants. Investigators discovered a small amount of suspected heroin, marijuana and drug packaging materials in the second-floor apartment. It appeared that an individual attempted to flush suspected heroin down a toilet. Investigators also seized in excess of $2,000.
Drug trafficking charges are pending lab reports on multiple individuals involved in this investigation.

Search warrant served in the City of Ashtabula
Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force (TAG) press release
ASHTABULA_At approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, the TAG Task Force along with the Ashtabula Police Department served a search warrant issued by Ashtabula Municipal Court at 811 Center St (upper apartment) in the City of Ashtabula. This warrant the result of an approximate three month joint investigation into heroin and methamphetamine sales from the residence.
Upon entering the apartment investigators seized marijuana, US currency and a small amount of suspected heroin along with drug packaging materials, scales and numerous used and new syringes.
This was residence was used to both sell illegal drugs and as a place of use, of the drugs. Two occupants of the residence were later released from the scene pending lab results. Charges will later be sent to the Ashtabula County Prosecutor for review by the Grand Jury.
