Saybrook man charged with Rand Hilal Al Dulaimi’s murder

Man jailed for child pornography offenses now facing five felony charges in connection with death of young mother.

JEFFERSON_On January 8, 2019, the Ashtabula County Grand Jury returned a six-count indictment against Jeffrey A. Stanley related to the July 2018 murder of Rand Hilal Al Dulaimi in Saybrook Township.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stanley has been indicted on the following charges:

  1. Murder, an unclassified felony;
  2. Murder, an unclassified felony;
  3. Felonious Assault, a felony of the second degree;
  4. Tampering With Evidence, a felony of the third degree;
  5. Gross Abuse of a Corpse, a felony of the fifth degree; and
  6. Domestic Violence, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Stanley remains incarcerated at the Northeast Ohio Correctional Center in Youngstown on federal child pornography charges to which he recently pled guilty. Stanley will be arraigned on the charges involving the death of Rand Hilal Al Dulaimi before Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court Judge Gary L. Yost in the near future.

BACKGROUND

JEFFERSON_The Ashtabula County Sheriff s Office received the official coroner ‘s verdict in the death of Rand Al Dulaimi, Thursday.

Upon full inquiry based on all the known facts, Ashtabula County Coroner Pamela L. Lancaster, found that Al Dulaimi died from neck compression and blunt force head injury. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.

The investigation into Al Dulaimi ‘s death is ongoing. The Sheriff s Office is waiting on final lab results from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation. BCI.

JEFFERSON_The Ashtabula County Sheriff s Office has named Jeffrey A. Stanley as a person of interest in the disappearance of 23-year-old Rand  Al Dulaimi.

Stanley, 28, of 4506 Ninevah Road, Saybrook Township, was arrested July  14, 2018 on a parole violation and is being held in the Ashtabula County Jail.

Al Dulaimi, of Lambros Lane, Ashtabula, disappeared Monday, July 9, 2018 under suspicious circumstances. She was last seen at Stanley’s Ninevah Road address.

Aldulaimi, of Lambros Lane, Ashtabula, disappeared Monday, July 9, 2018 under suspicious circumstances. She was last seen at Stanley’s Ninevah Road address .

ACSO detectives, with the assistance of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, conducted an aerial search of the area Wednesday afternoon. Additional aerial search efforts are plan ned. Ground search of the area are actively being conducted as well.

ACSO, with the assistance of Ashtabula Police Department and the FBI, continue to investigate Al Dulaimi’s disappearance.
