“One of the 99%” urges people to get out and vote Tuesday, Nov. 6 as he sits on State Route 193 guardrail on the bridge over I-90 in Kingsville Monday. One is dressed as the character V in the 2006 movie “V is for Vendetta”. V railed against an extremely oppressive system in a futuristic England. The look and style of V was derived from Guy Fawkes, a man who was first tortured, killed by hanging and then drawn and quartered for his participation the Gunpowder Plot in 1606 in England. Fawkes, a devout Catholic, took part in a plan to blow up the King James (Protestant) and replace him with a Catholic king.
